We have already seen huge changes for both the recent market value updates in the Premier League and the Championship, but now it's the turn of the third tier of English football to be adjusted. As many as 626 League One players have had their market values upgraded or downgraded this June, with significant gains for both Birmingham City and Wrexham, who will both be Championship teams next season. The biggest winner of the entire update was Blues striker Jay Stansfield, who saw his market value increase by +€2 million to a new total of €11m. The 22-year-old scored 19 league goals last season and is part of the England U21 squad for this summer's European Championship. His latest upgrade means Stansfield now becomes the most valuable player to ever represent a League One club.

The next biggest winner of the update was Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okokonkwo. The 23-year-old was signed on a free transfer from Arsenal last summer, and sees his market value rise from €1.2m to €2m, after only conceding 23 goals in 33 League One games this term. All 10 of the biggest winners of the update play for either Birmingham or Wrexham, and when it comes to the biggest rises in squad value, it's no great surprise to see those teams once again top of the charts. The Midlands side rose by +€4.65m in squad value to a staggering new total of €56.2m. Whilst the Welsh outfit, owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, saw their squad value increase by +€2.1m to €15.75m.

The third team that was promoted - through the play-offs - was Charlton, and the Addicks indeed received the third biggest squad market value upgrade of +€0.93m, but six other teams still boast a higher squad value than the South London side. At the other end of the scale, the biggest squad market value downgrade came for Huddersfield, who lost -€1.07m to create a new squad value of €13.75m. Whilst the player with the biggest downgrade was Peterborough's Kwame Poku, who saw his market value drop from €1.5m to €1m in this latest update.
